 Abuja One of the suspected kidnappers tormenting Bayelsa State, Big Boy John Lyon, was apprehended in Abuja.

Nigeria Police Force officers in Abuja have detained John Lyon, a prominent socialite from Abuja who also serves as one of the kidnappers terrorizing Bayelsa State.

In Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Mr. Lyon is well known for leading an opulent lifestyle in clubs and pubs.

He admitted in the video that was posted online that he and his crew had only taken part in two kidnappings, but one of his victims rejected him.

In the 2019 Bayelsa gubernatorial election, David Lyon ran as the All Progressives Congress' (APC) candidate for governor. The Supreme Court decided that his running mate, Degi Eremienyo Wangagra, submitted a forged certificate to INEC, invalidating his election a day before he was to be sworn in as governor. The top court mandated that PDP candidate Douye Diri, who finished second in the poll, receive a certificate of return and take office as governor.

John Lyon was well-known for displaying large sums of money on social media and advising his followers to "hustle" before his arrest and exposure as a suspected kidnap and armed robbery mastermind on Saturday. 

He was also well-known for giving inspirational speeches to Nigerian youths on the need to work hard.

An alleged doctor is seen in the nearly four-minute clip desperately attempting to remove a black and yellow snake from the female patient's ear with tweezers.

The caption of the video, which went viral on social media after being shared by an Indian celebrity, reads, "The snake has gone in the ear," as it was posted on Facebook.

It is still unclear when or how the regrettable event took place based on the video and reports that followed.

The video ends without saying whether the procedure was successful or not.

While others questioned how the snake managed to fit the rest of its body in the woman's ear, some viewers believed the clip to be a hoax, with one calling it "100% false."

One person questioned how it squeezed the rest of its body into her ear canal.

Speaking of the disturbing occurrence, this isn't the first time someone's ear canal has been infested by an unauthorized insect.

In the past, a cockroach infested a New Zealander's ear and remained there for three full days. A traveler in Puerto Rico who was snorkeling met a similar end while there, according to the New York Post.

Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, commonly known as Oga Sabinus, is a well-known Nigerian comedian who has survived a car accident on Sunday morning.

He reportedly hit his car while traveling in Lagos when a drunk motorist rammed at him.

Pictures taken at the scene revealed that the car had damage to the area of the bonnet where it was struck.

After the incident, Oga Sabinus went live on Instagram to reassure his supporters that he was okay.

"For the individuals calling, I am receiving messages, and I am well," Sabinus replied. Be not afraid. I merely keep mentioning that folks shouldn't drink and drive. I have never seen a car drive in one lane while passing another..

When a car in one lane crosses across into another, the motor is dispersed.

"We give God thanks. God is firstly thanked for life. I am secure because nothing bad has occurred to me, Sabinues. I'm doing fine. Don't be afraid.
